Ducati Transponder / Chip Key Blank
This key blank fits:
2001 and up 900 Monster S4
2002 and up ST4S
2002 to 2008 Monster
2003 to 2008 all models
2009+ some models
This key blank has a transponder (chip) in the head of the key that is necessary for operation of the engine.
I can offer 3 options to obtain duplicate keys for models requiring a red key for programming:
Option 1: If you have the red master programming key.
a) Order this key blank from me.
b) Have your red key duplicated onto this key blank using a standard key duplicating machine at a locksmith shop or hardware store (cloning not necessary).
c) Program the key into your motorcycle's computer. I will include a copy of the programming instructions with the key blank.
Option 2: If you do not have the red master programming key.
a) Order this key blank from me.
b) Take your key and this key blank to a locksmith or hardware store that has a transponder cloning device so they can duplicate and clone your key onto this key blank.
Option 3: If you do not have the red master programming key.
a) Send your key to me. My address is; motorcyclekeys.com, 69-1033 Nawahine Pl Unit 20B, Waikoloa, HI 96738 USA
b) I will use a transponder cloning device to read the code in your transponder and then copy it into the transponder in this key blank. Your motorcycle’s computer is already programmed to accept this code so it will work.
c) I will send them back to you by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
d) Have your key duplicated onto this blank at a locksmith shop or hardware store.
NOTE: I will clone a spare transponder and keep it until you receive them so that I can clone more keys in the unlikely event that they should become lost.
