Vespa Piaggio Derbi Transponder / Chip Key Blank
This key blank fits:
Vespa - 1996 to present ET4, LX 150, LXV 150, GT 200, GTS 200, Granturismo 200, GTS 250/300, GTV 250/300 & GT60 250 models.
Piaggio - 1996 to present Fly 150, BV 200, BV 250, BV 500, X9 500 & X9 Evolution 500 models.
Derbi - 2003 to present Boulevard 150.
This key blank has a transponder (chip) in the head of the key that is necessary for proper operation of the engine.
I can offer 3 options for obtaining duplicate keys:
Option 1: If you have the brown master programming key.
a) Order this key blank from me.
b) Have your brown key duplicated onto it at a locksmith shop or hardware store (cloning not necessary).
c) Program the key into the scooter’s computer. I will include complete programming instructions.
Option 2: If you do not have the brown master programming key.
a) Send your blue key to me. My address is; motorcyclekeys.com, 69-1033 Nawahine Pl Unit 20B, Waikoloa, HI 96738 USA
b) I will use a transponder cloning device to read the code in your transponder and then copy it into the transponder in this key blank. Your scooter’s computer is already programmed to accept this code so it will work.
c) I will send them back to you by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
d) Have your key duplicated onto the key blank at a locksmith shop or hardware store.
NOTE: I will clone a spare transponder and keep it until you receive them so that I can clone more keys in the unlikely event that they should become lost.
Option 3: If you do not have the brown master programming key.
a) Order this key blank from me.
b) Take your blue key and this key blank to a locksmith or hardware store that has a transponder cloning device so they can duplicate and clone your key onto this key blank.
